We’re currently seeking a talented individual to join our Refugee Employability Programme team as an Operations Manager.
You’ll need to be an exemplar leader, applying a range of management and leadership skills to optimise positive performance. Be able to inspire, motivate and lead teams in a high-performance culture and be able to drive contract performance through a network of supply chain partners and a self-delivery management team across a wide geographical base.
You’ll work with colleagues on our Seetec Pluss Senior Management Team in order to identify opportunities for cross-contract collaboration leading to performance improvement in own and others’ contracts. However, we aren’t always looking for someone who ticks every single box we’re looking for someone who has the ability to seek out solutions to problems and have a high level of initiative and motivation.
As an organisation, we deliver a range of Employability & Skills contracts which support unemployed people ‘back to work’. This job role forms part of our Refugee Employability Programme which is a new service that will support the integration of refugees across England.. This role is subject to contract award.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £56,000 to £60,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: This will be a mobile role as you will cover multiple locations across the North West of England
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Refugee Employability Programme with full accountability to deliver to customer (Department for Work and Pensions - DWP) and budgetary expectations.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators set by DWP for delivery of the Refugee Employability Programme contract in the advertised geographical area.
- Develop and continuously improve Seetec Pluss operations and services ensuring that delivery models remain optimal to meet present and future needs of customers and commissioners.
- Determine budgets for discrete delivery teams in Refugee Employability Programme and support their achievement through ongoing monitoring and management of resources.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in delivering high performance outputs via a geographically dispersed team.
- Experience of delivering services to meet rigorous contractual and quality standards.
- Experience in a senior operational management capacity.
- Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes.
Desirable
- Member of the IEP
- Experience of using management information to drive Continuous Improvement.
- Experience of successful delivery of employability programmes.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent managerial qualifications.
- Understanding of the employability industry & the challenges faced in the employment market for newly unemployed people who may not have searched for work for many years.
- Full driving licence to enable deployment across a number of teams, according to need
