The Role

Hours per week:
This position is a full-time role that requires working five days out of seven, including weekends, as needed by the business.
Job Purpose:
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of Piglets Adventure Farm whilst ensuring that all our visitors have a memorable experience that encourages them to return and tell their friends.
5 key objectives:
To achieve this purpose the role must be able to do the below 5 key things:
- Continuously develop an effective team through ensuring they are healthy, happy, and engaged
- Grow the reputation of the business through obsessing about service, quality, safety, and telling the “Piglets Adventure Farm story” at every opportunity.
- Enhance results through managing operational costs in line with business demands, improving margins, and growing on spend.
- Communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders including the team, visitors, suppliers, and owners.
- Be committed to their own personal development and growth to support both their own and the business objectives.
Desired outcomes:
This role needs to have a significant impact on the performance of the business. As such below are the desired outcomes for the role:
- Delivering payroll and margins as agreed with the Directors.
- Team retention.
- Enhanced visitor experience and level of repeat business and advocacy.
- Improved visitors spend per head and % of visitors spending.
- Risk compliance including H&S and FS audits.
- Owner trust and confidence.

Experience:
The successful candidate is likely to come from the hospitality, visitor attraction, retail, or wider visitor economy but they must have:
- Experience of building and managing teams
- Experience of running a volume business
- Experience of positively impacting on their team’s performance, the reputation of the business, and its results.
