Project & Operations Manager -
One of our clients is looking for a project and ops manager to join their growing, government funded organisation, which is supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with life changing opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
They are currently looking for a Project and Operations Manager to run their Future Talent Programs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Managing the existing Future Talent Programmes
· Creating new Future Talent programmes
· Adjusting the existing Future Talent programmes where necessary
· Organising work experience programmes
· Design & run a rolling high volume student recruitment campaign
· Liaising with partnership companies to coordinate future talent partner programmes
· Organising and attending events with students
· Representing the organisation with companies and students
· Ensure compliance with all necessary health and safety legislation for every event.
Skills and Experience:
- DBS clearance and references will be required
- Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills to run the Future Talent Programs
- Must have a degree
- Previous experience in designing and delivering career development workshops
- Preferably the candidate will come from a background in public sector work
- Must have previous experience in training volunteers
- Must be able to travel across the country
- Manage a large workload with problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Previous event planning, programme management and partnership building experience
Can be based in London/Birmingham (weekly travel to central London - 4 days per month)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £36,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
