Umbrella Broadband is an ambitious and growing company seeking to expand our efficiency by the creation of this new and important role. We are looking for an Operations Manager with expertise in ISP and / or Communications & Security Technology to oversee technical operations.
This mission-critical role is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day activities of Umbrella’s operational staff to ensure that we deliver excellent service to our customers.
Your position will be central to the development of Umbrella Broadband and to help lay the foundations for future growth expansion.
Key Objectives
- Priorities and deliver Installation and Maintenance of Broadband Services, Video intercom & CCTV Systems.
- Lead and Manage Project Staff, Both in the office and in the Field.
- Manage reported broadband faults communicating with end users, engineers and ISP’s.
- Purchasing materials set out in successful quotations, receiving, and assigning to contracts.
- Maintain close working relationship with Sales & Commercial departments.
- Organising and communicating with Customers and Engineers.
- Stock control and inventory management.
Key Objectives
- Develop Operational process’s suitable for company expansion to new offices.
- Establishing objectives for increased output and improved efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of Health, Safety & Quality, both at site and in the office
- Maintain customer satisfaction by sticking to the company’s core values
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
