Role Summary:

• To work closely with the General Manager on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running of the mill farm operation.
• You will be required to lead & manage the food & beverage department alongside hotel operations. The role holder will oversee EPOS management, supplier liaison, purchasing and stock control.
• Excellent customer service is what we strive to achieve for all our guests and in this role you will be expected to deliver this and to build and train a team to deliver this consistently across all outlets.

Main Duties:

Responsibilities

• Implementing and maintaining the best standards of practice across all food & beverage and hotel operations.
• Working closely with outlet managers/supervisors and mentoring them to ensure that they are motivated to deliver the companies vision in each area of the business and they are consistently striving to exceed customer expectations.
• To ensure that the highest standards of training and development are offered to all staff and that this is consistently delivered.
• Maximising sales opportunities throughout the business and developing a culture of “upselling”.
• To oversee all food and beverage ordering and ensure that purchase orders are placed in line with company policy.
• To maintain the management of the EPOS/hotel and bookings systems and ensure that the business is using the systems to their maximum capacity to support all areas of the business.
• To manage stock control and ensure companies procedures are followed with this. Ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum and product pricing is kept in line with suppliers increases.
• To project manage the re launching of key brands such as Milano’s by working with the marketing manager, head chef and restaurant manager to ensure that this process is successful.
• To work with outlet managers & supervisors to ensure that staffing levels are correct and budgets are adhered to. The role holder will oversee recruitment to ensure the business has the best possible staff in every area of the business.
