Brief
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our small but busy company to oversee and manage all areas of operations and logistics. You will fully support the strategizing, planning and running of our global projects and programmes as well as taking control of all the day-to-day business operations. You will be handling multiple clients, projects / programmes and tasks at once and will be dealing with complex logistics.
We are looking for someone who is able to drive us forward and bring innovative ideas and processes to the daily operations of the business, formulating strategies and new practices to improve performance. We are therefore looking for someone that is very logistically minded and highly organised. We need someone who is happy to hit the ground running and take real ownership for their work, whilst being willing to get stuck in at all levels and with multiple areas of the business.
Main responsibilities
· Overseeing global project / programme management and operations
· Planning and logistics
· Taking control of all day-to-day business operations
· Formulating strategy to improve performance
· Liaising with clients & internal team to ensure everything is running smoothly
· Taking control of the client activity workflow document (CAS)
· Arranging team meetings and team offsites
· Arranging team birthday gifts, client gifts & charity giving
· Pastoral care of the internal team
· Day-to-day general administrative tasks
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a management role
- Scheduling / diary management experience
- Experience co-ordinating complex projects / programmes or events
- Must Drive and live within 30/40 minutes of Reigate
- Highly logistical and strategic
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Great presentation and client communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to manage own schedule and work independently from home
- Motivated and pro-active, a real team player, willing to get stuck in with all areas and levels of the business
- Innovative, engaging, enthusiastic and positive attitude
Start date: ASAP
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
