Job description
Partech is part of In-Situ® Inc, a fast-growing manufacturer of water monitoring equipment for environmental and process applications, headquartered in Colorado, USA and with two facilities in the UK. In-Situ designs, manufactures, sells and hires water level, water quality, and flow monitoring instrumentation for groundwater, surface water, coastal waters, drinking and wastewater. Products are sold globally via a direct sales team with a network of distributors supporting customers.
Our Operations Manager is responsible for leading Partech’s operations including supply chain management, materials management, compliance management, production planning, and the manufacture of Partech’s instrumentation. The Operations manager is the champion that drives continuous improvements as it relates to safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity. The Operations Manager leads and develops the production team of 7 people and the development of processes that support In-Situ’s growth goals through the utilization of lean manufacturing tools and principles.

Primary Role
- Leadership of our production and procurement team driving high standards of workmanship and attention to detail, setting performance goals for the team and managing performance against those goals.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by learning and utilising Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Responsibility of the management and development of our supply chain, controlling inventory levels and meeting customer expectations for product delivery.
- Owner of the operations elements of our ISO9001 business management system.
- Membership of the local management team, maintaining cross functional communication and working with colleagues to champion our excellent health, safety and wellbeing culture.
Working Environment
- General office environment with some time spent each day in production areas and with cross functional teams. Some travel may be required. Normal production environment for high tech, small batch production.

Salary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
