Come join us as we are seeking an energetic and valued contributor to manage and develop our North West region! Mitie Landscapes has a new opportunity for a Head of Operations to join our team at the UKs leading FM company. You will have full responsibility for the day to day operations in Grounds Maintenance, Interiors, winter services and projects.
Reporting to the UK Director you will lead your business unit, ensuring that it delivers the exceptional every day.
You will be responsible for.
- Constantly striving to improve efficiency and utilisation of resources.
- Working to ensure delivery of the business plan, maximising operational and financial performance to ensure budgets are achieved/exceeded.
- Develop with the operational teams a robust business strategy, which improves operational delivery and contributes to profitable growth going forward.
- Maintain, develop and enhance current and new customer relationships, in liaison with the national accounts/ Key accounts and our sales teams.
- Introduce innovative work practices to improve efficiency and service levels
- Ensure the highest level of commitment, awareness and results on QHSE issues.
- Ensure the highest level of commitment to people management and development.
- You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service

Person Specification
- Senior operational management experience is required.
- A high level of experience in commercial operations, budgeting & forecasting, QHSE, people management and customer relationship management.
- An excellent understanding of operational IT systems.
- An ability to travel extensively across North West and some other parts of the UK to support the needs of the business.
