Our consistent and ongoing growth means that we are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to run and oversea all processes from design through to the manufacturing of cabinetry, logistics and operations to an exceptional standard.
Essential;
- A minimum of 3 years experience of managing teams of 15 or more people is essential
- Substantial experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, AutoCAD
- Experience of running a workshop / factory floor
- Have the ability to recruit, train and discipline employees where necessary
- Must have an innate passion for quality control and the delivery of exceptionally high levels of product and customer service
- The candidate will take full responsibility of managing the design, manufacture and logistics/ operations side of the business and carefully manage and track the relationship between each department, in order to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing and production process of our handcrafted furniture
- Be an ambassador of the culture we have created at Krantz Designs and ensure everyone continues to operate alongside the company values
- Implementation of systems and processes to streamline the customer journey and manufacturing process from start to finish and take full responsibility of planning and monitoring these processes
- The ability to forecast requirements to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Communicating job expectations clearly to all employees and appraising where necessary based on the progress of the processes
- Must have the ability to contribute towards strategic business planning, prepare and complete action plans, implement production, productivity and quality, customer service standards, resolve problems and complete audits
- Must have the ability to track and improve all business KPI’s
- Be able to forecast requirements, with the ability to stick to an annual expenditure budget and look at ways to reduce cost in workshop
- Analyse and improve organisational process, workshop, employee and space requirements: implement changes
- Run a safe and injury free workplace, responsible for the health and safety in the workshop
- The operations manager will be solely responsible for the logistics and managing the warehouse operator and delivery team (managing stock levels)
