The Role:


Leading the Warehouse Operations Team to deliver a “right first time service”, ensuring Operational excellence and a safety first philosophy is embedded within the culture across our 16 (& ever growing) sites. Direct & support the creation of processes, systems, tools & reports designed to deliver performance in line with the businesses aspirations. To lead change through a continuous improvement strategy which ensures the operation evolves in line with industry best practice and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Warehouse Operations Senior Team ensuring that clear direction and sound operational management deliver Operational excellence & Customer satisfaction.
  • Develop Operational Strategy which ensures that the Structure, systems, resources & operational infrastructure are aligned with the businesses evolving requirements.
  • Embed Operational excellence across all areas of the Warehouse Network delivering a right first time ethos.
  • Develop a Continuous Improvement strategy which is realised across the warehouse network delivering ongoing improvements & an empowered Warehouse Team.
  • Driving the concept of Safety first across the Network, engaging cross functional Teams to deliver an ever improving safety culture.
  • Ensure that the Warehouse function is aligned to the voice of the customer & delivers in line with and beyond their expectations of service, quality & cost.
  • Develop and deliver robust plans which ensure the delivery of Service, Quality & flex based costs. Ensure that suitable contingencies are identified based upon sound risk analysis.

Qualifications (Desirable):


  • Nebosh General Certificate
  • Supply Chain / Logistics / Management focused degree
  • CPC

Successful candidate(s) will be required to undergo a basic Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) Check.
