We are currently looking to appoint an Operations Manager on behalf of one of our clients based in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a great opportunity for someone to utilise their leadership skills in a busy, fast paced environment and will consist of ensuring company procedures and SLA’s are met. We are seeking a dynamic individual with relevant managerial skills to oversee a busy warehousing team.

Duties as an Operations Manager:

• Setting and achieving daily working targets
• Delegating and assigning tasks
• Meeting delivery deadlines, SLA’s and clients expectations
• Resolving issues
• Liaising with colleagues to improve processes
• Handling staffing issues
• Overseeing a team of Warehouse Operatives
• Assisting with staffing issues, disciplinaries, meetings and operational admin
• Maintaining good work practices and housekeeping
• Overseeing reports, rotas and work efficiency
• Being involved with Health & Safety and testing of equipment
• Dealing with reports and working closely with Directors

To be successful as an Operations Manager you will have experience in an Operations Managerial position or covering similar duties. In return you will receive a salary between £35,000-£45,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday over a 35-hour week, on either an 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm shift.
