Job description
We are currently looking to appoint an Operations Manager on behalf of one of our clients based in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a great opportunity for someone to utilise their leadership skills in a busy, fast paced environment and will consist of ensuring company procedures and SLA’s are met. We are seeking a dynamic individual with relevant managerial skills to oversee a busy warehousing team.
Duties as an Operations Manager:
Skills:
To be successful as an Operations Manager you will have experience in an Operations Managerial position or covering similar duties. In return you will receive a salary between £35,000-£45,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday over a 35-hour week, on either an 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm shift.

Duties as an Operations Manager:
- Setting and achieving daily working targets
- Delegating and assigning tasks
- Meeting delivery deadlines, SLA’s and clients expectations
- Resolving issues
- Liaising with colleagues to improve processes
- Handling staffing issues
- Overseeing a team of Warehouse Operatives
- Assisting with staffing issues, disciplinaries, meetings and operational admin
- Maintaining good work practices and housekeeping
- Overseeing reports, rotas and work efficiency
- Being involved with Health & Safety and testing of equipment
- Dealing with reports and working closely with Directors
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills

- The ability to lead and communicate with a range of individuals

- Reliable, pro-active and punctual
