From October 2023, all leaving care/16-18-year-old, young people’s services will be regulated by OFSTED. This registration will be at provider level, not individual homes.
Our client needs an Operations Manager / Registered Manager to hold the registration for their whole service.

For over 6 years my client has been successfully providing quality Supported Living services, to young people who require assistance in gaining their independence and well- being. They offer vulnerable children the opportunity to live independently but in a supported environment, as well as, with the choice of staff support in matters such as managing their own tenancy, finances, maintaining access to the community and other aspects that contribute towards building their future.
They have an excellent track record in supporting young people with a range of needs, including care leavers, young offenders, and unaccompanied young people. To achieve effectively provide bespoke support for young people and ensure they meet their outcomes, we work closely with local authorities, parents, social services and other multi agencies, this also helps them to develop tailored packages of support to meet the needs of individual young people.
They have 6 homes that will come under the registration that can home up to 32 young people, they currently have 24 young people that are unaccompanied asylum seekers.
They also have 2 ‘step-down’ supported living services that are not regulated but will come under the management of the Operations Manager.
Their homes are in Nuneaton, Leamington, Coventry, and Walsall.
The local authorities and social services are encouraging them to open children’s homes because of the excellent level of care their 16+ young people receive, so their aim as a company is to be able to provide care for young people from the age of 12 and look after them all the way through to adulthood and beyond, to do this they aim to also open children’s homes and CQC registered homes.
This is an ambitious company with an excellent reputation, looking for the right person that will help them achieve their future goal, which intern offers a role with unlimited potential to progress.
