Goldenfry Foods, established in Yorkshire in 1958, is the leading manufacturer of own brand gravy and also produces a wide portfolio of other ambient food products for the multiples, discounters and independent markets.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to work with our Head of Manufacturing to achieve planned production output on time and in full through the effective line management of all shifts, ensuring compliance to a high standard of GMP, training and all Health and Safety requirements.
You will lead the accurate implementation of the company’s FSQMS throughout the manufacturing process to ensure agreed food safety and quality standards are met at all times.
Working with the Shift Managers to ensure the necessary skills and training in GMP to lead their teams effectively. Ensuring all operational teams are trained effectively and there is a sufficient skills balance on all shifts to enable flexible working, whilst identifying and presenting plans to deliver reductions in total cost of manufacturing without adverse effect on standards.
The ideal candidate will come with strong performance management and coaching skills, with a result, root cause and fact focused approach you will be able to build relationships at all levels. An ability to work flexibly is needed to ensure that visibility and operational management consistent across both day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 HACCP
- Level 3 Food Safety
- NEBOSH qualification
- Six Sigma (or similar) desirable
