Role: Area Sales & Operations Manager
Salary: £45k - £55k
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Are you an experienced sales representative looking for a new opportunity to increase revenue and develop business for an international company? If that’s the case then this might be the position for you.
As the first point of contact for sales, you will be helping to develop business through selling high-end mechanical construction equipment to a number of sectors, and will take full responsibility for the sales cycle from start to finish.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-end mechanical equipment. Headquartered in Europe with an international presence, operating across multiple European countries, a privately owned business, they are passionate about what they do and seek a sales representative who is equally as passionate about all things mechanical. Based in Manchester, your mission is to establish the company as a market and image leader in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and exploit market potential and increase market share.
- Plan, monitor and control budgets.
- Continuously expand sales and services through establishment & development.
- Perform market analysis to successfully assess competition.
- Establish strategic alignment of sales and service structures.
- Organise business trips to customers / product demonstrations.
Requirements:
- Technical education.
- Experience in selling high priced investment goods (preferably in the construction sector).
- Previous experience in renovation/industrial cleaning industry bonus.
- Ambitious, passionate and proactive.
- Able to effectively lead a team.
