We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team at one of our largest Contract Logistics sites in Lutterworth where you will be responsible for driving the operational culture. The role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing business and sector. It will involve taking on responsibility for the operational output of the business as well as ensuring all operational procedures are complied with.
Role Description:
- Establish and lead all operational procedures.
- Ensure adequate staffing, training, development and coaching.
- Engaging in continuous improvement activities ensuring input from all levels of the operation.
- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, equipment and employee resources.
- Ensure the working conditions are compliant with H&S regulations and environmental awareness.
- Ensure compliance to all HR policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience in an operational management role within a warehousing / logistics environment.
· Excellent knowledge of health and safety policies at work.
· Well-rounded knowledge of Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement preferred.
· Experience within an ecommerce environment advantageous.
Package Details:
- Salary: £48,000 - £52,000
- Company Pension Scheme.

The working hours for this role are 40 hours per week based at our Lutterworth site.
