Feather Down Farms, the leading provider of farm stays in more than 5 countries, is looking for a flexible and communicative Operations Manager. Feather Down Farms has strong growth ambitions for the next 5 years, including expanding our farm locations in all countries.
The Operations Manager reports to the Country Manager and will have a key role in managing our farmers’ network.
Main responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day business together with the farmers
- Main contact person for the farmers in the UK to resolve issues and maintain relationships between Feather Down and the farmers
- Communication between the different teams in the company towards the farmers (operational, marketing, finance, bookings etc.)
- Assisting the country manager in recruiting and starting up new farms
- Making the planning and procurement for the operational teams (opening, closing, maintenance, building, dismantling)
- Organizing purchase & logistics for farm related processes
- Monitoring the safety procedures on the farm
- Budget responsible
- Organizing onsite communication for guests and special events/activities

As operations manager, you will be part of a dedicated team of three, focused specifically on the UK market.
