Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
- Management of all Utility/Civils/Activities.
- Managing supervisors and other support staff as required.
- Oversee, manage and arrange subcontractors & contract labour as required.
- Quality checks and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure tollbox talks and new company procedures are delivered to the workforce. - --
- Design Verification and client liaison. - Stock Management and coordination of site materials.
- Programme works and set targets with teams to ensure programmes are achieved or
exceeded. - Agree delivery dates with cliensts. -
- Monthly contract programme updates to clients.
- Client liaison, Meetings and business development.
- Recording works and track sheets/day works as required.
- Monthly report reviews with commercial team.
- Regular site & photo records taken on site and uploaded.
- Promote cost saving and increased productivity through initiatives and value engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management

Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree qualified, HNC or Trade Qualification or Experienced in a relevant field.
(preferred).
- Previous FTTP Experience is essential.
- Local knowledge of Networks and Local Authorities. - Commercially Astute.
- Previous experience within a NRSWA regulated environment. - Programming Experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
