Position: Operations Manager ( Back of House)
Location: Bristol Airport
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Shift pattern: : Monday to Friday (Role requires 24/7 oversight)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Fully accountable for daily operational performance of the back of house operation at Bristol Airport
- Day to day on time Performance reporting, trend analysis & continuous improvement
- Make our customer feel confident in how you run their operation with open and honest reporting
- Managing 10 day outlook resourcing oversight
- Lead Disruption Co-Ordination
- Chair daily/weekly meetings
- Manage colleague welfare
- Line management of Station FLM's (First Line Managers) & Station S0M's (Shift Operations Managers)
- Build key relationships with our customer and their 3rd party suppliers
- OMS management of key tools to improve our practices

- Previous management experience ( 1 year minimum)
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to manage a team
- Aviation experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage change processes
- Ability to deliver results under stress
- Coaching and active listening skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good balance of Results and respect approach
- Ability to drive Standards within the direct team
- Hold a full driving licence
Security Process to work within Aviation and Travel at DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
