Shift pattern: Rotational (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

- The jobholder will be enthusiastic with experience of managing multi faceted operations within a unionised environment
- They will have experience / knowledge of managing within a manufacturing operation
- The role will be required to give positive input within areas for the design, optimisation, delivery and continuous improvement of all aspects of the operation
- Have the desire to support the customer's cost reduction strategy by providing supply chain knowledge as well as supporting standardisation and optimisation initiatives to drive down costs and secure or optimise service levels
- The role will also be instrumental in developing the operational processes, and ensuring that all operational and H&S targets are achieved

- Exceptional planning and organising ability with a hands on approach
- Results orientated, must be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Able to assess existing operations (internal DHL / customer) and identify areas for improvement
- Good communication and listening skills, and effective in communicating ideas. Frequently required to present to customer's senior management teams
- Proven experience in operational and project roles
