Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Operations Manager is the key point of contact for Sales and Operations departments with respect to all third-party facility transactions and inventory management.
This role requires an innovative approach to understanding and managing our vendor partners, ensuring customer SLA’s are met while leveraging system tools and optimizing business processes. This role is a senior role within the operations team with a focus on managing the Third Parties Facilities via KPIs and customer SLAs.
Responsibilities
Understand and manage supplier and manufacturer programs, promotions, pricing structures, ordering requirements, inventory levels and communicate changes that impact business processes.
Manage relationships with Third Party Facilities and vendor partners in Canada and US, including QBR performance reviews to ensure SLAs are being met.
Onboard new accounts, coordinating with G4G Team and customer AE to understand requirements and actions related to specific accounts.
Coordinate and communicate with Logistics and Configuration teams to ensure SLAs are being met
Evaluate and make change recommendations for Freight and Logistics partners based on established KPIs.
Act as an escalation point for CFI Operations to ensure G4G customer service levels are maintained and data security protocols are being met
Monitor and manage set Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assess performance and highlight areas that need improvement, putting actionable plans in place.
Assist with Bid Opportunities to support maximization of gross profit after factoring in servicing costs and foreign exchange rates where applicable
Coordinate with CFI internal departments to minimize any inventory agingand determine resolutions
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Purchasing/Buying, Supply Chain Management
5+ years managing vendor partnerships, conducting performance reviews & QBR
Experience in ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) market preferred
College diploma or undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required
Strong MS Office skills required with intermediate working knowledge of Excel (Pivots; vlookups, formulas), Data Validation, FTP utilities
Experience with vendor contacts, product offerings, and Pricing structures: HP, IBM, Lenovo, Dell, etc.
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of inventory management and inventory carrying costs
Experience in Logistics (order processing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, customs) advantageous
