Operations Manager - Camberley
£53,500 - £56,500 per annum
Due to internal promotion, we are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join the Camberley team. Reporting to the Site Director, we are looking for someone to lead the production function to deliver excellence in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Your new role:
A snapshot of what will be involved:
- Managing, developing and leading the production teams on site;
- Taking responsibility for, and maximising the production output and product quality, whilst minimising unnecessary costs;
- Managing an efficient operation on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets, whilst committing to plant safety procedures;
- Forecasting staffing requirements based on expected demand and recruiting where necessary;
- Reviewing plant performance with the Engineering Manager to ensure all equipment is fully available
As our ideal candidate, you will need to have proven experience in an Operations/Plant Manager role, with experience of managing and motivating a team. You will also need proven experience of delivering a successful OTIF operation to a demanding customer base and have knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning etc.) In addition, our ideal candidate will need to be IT literate, highly numerate, possess excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with everyone on site to achieve a real sense of being part of the same team, and are calm and confident.
You will also need proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
