Role Purpose
The role is to be an essential part of our operating solution to provide outstanding customer service to our rental clients by preparing, de-prepping, maintaining, and assisting with daily operations.
Reports To: Operations Leader
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all rentals are delivered on time and to specification.
- Management of prep and de-prep scheduling, ensuring the use process and procedure.
- Organisation of Logistics, both inhouse and 3rd party providers.
- Daily management of warehouse and logistics staff.
- Implement and development of company legal policies regarding operations (H&S, HR and other conformities).
- Be an ambassador of the CEG brand by communicating well with couriers and delivery/collection drivers arriving at CEG to collect or return equipment.
- When needed, work within warehouse and delivery roles.
- Line management of Warehouse staff and Logistics staff.

- Being physically fit is important as you may be expected to frequently handle products weighing up to 25kg by yourself or in excess of this with another team member.
- Ability to work within a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines. As we support the events industry we typically have busier periods and quieter periods and you must be able to adapt to this.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
- A clean and current full driving licence with some commercial vehicle driving experience that includes the ability to drive 3.5tonne vehicles.
- A counter balance forklift licence is preferable but not essential (training can be provided).
- Willing to live within 30 miles of CB22 3HB or willing to relocate.
Hours: 8.30-5.30, Monday to Friday.
Onsite work is flexible with weekends, evening and overnights possible.
Location: Unit 6a, Solopark Trading Estate, Station Road, Pampisford, Cambridge, CB22 3HB.
Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, with scalable share of profitability bonus (increases with service).
Terms: This is a permanent full-time post, subject to references, interview, and practical assessment.
The offer is subject to a probation period of 6 months. This is a full-time post with some evening and weekend work required, for which you will be compensated.
Holiday entitlement for full-time employees is 20 days per annum plus bank holidays.
