Location: West London

Salary: £45,000

I am looking for an experienced Production/Operations Manager to join a Manufacturing company based in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production and operations functions in a busy fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements
• Ensure that all safety and quality standards are met and maintained
• Monitor and analyse production output and recommend improvements
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Monitor inventory levels and order new materials as required
• Develop and implement cost-effective practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Train and manage staff, and provide guidance and support
• Introduce a new WMS to monitor and manage stock levels

Technical Skills Required:

• Proven track record in a production management role
• Knowledge of production processes, safety and quality standards
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory developments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
