Our client is a market leading organisation in the certification space who have experienced significant growth over the last 2 years. This growth has led to a requirement for an experienced, energetic and inspiring Operations Manager.
With a handful of managers reporting into you, you will be responsible for ensuring that the teams, processes and systems are effective, efficient, customer focused and supporting of the Company Purpose, Business Plan, Budget and KPIs. You will be able to identify areas for improvement and growth, and implement strategies to add value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the business plan, supporting the Company Purpose, Goals, and Targets.
- Monitor performance against the business plan and ensure that comprehensive, accurate, and timely management reports are produced.
- Support, coach, and develop managers to reach their full potential, enabling them to effectively lead high performance teams which are adequately resourced and skilled.
- Support managers with recruitment selection and interviews.
- Review processes to ensure consistency and to improve efficiencies; document processes and liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance and to arrange regular audits.
- Ensure services meet expected quality of processing to ensure accuracy of CRM data and other records.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiencies and to capture growth opportunities; consider and recommend future resource and technical requirements.
- Ensure that the highest client and stakeholder satisfaction is achieved.
- Support with escalated complaints when appropriate.
- Ensure timely completion of audits, assessments and inspections within budget.
- Ensure that sub-contractors adhere to Service Agreements and that relevant evidence documentation is held and maintained.
- To confidently make decisions aligned to the Business Plan and opportunities that arise.
- To attend ad-hoc events and meetings as required.
- Other duties as defined from time to time as needed by the business.
Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have strong and practiced leadership skills. In addition, you will have the following:
- Experience of coaching and developing people to achieve their own and their teams’ full potential.
- Able to quickly develop a knowledge of the Company’s operating policies and procedures.
- Process management with experience of identifying and implementing efficiency enhancements, ideally utilising a CRM.
- Ability to identify a business opportunity and implement innovate solutions.
- A keenness to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to confidently communicate with senior managers and stakeholders.
- Able to produce high quality reports containing comprehensive and accurate information.
- Computer literate (MS Office) with an ability to quickly understand the CRM.
- Considered and confident decision making ability.
- Confident Presentation skills.
