Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey.
We design, build and maintain the UK’s utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.
We are proud to work in partnership with our clients, including Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power.
The Role:
The Programme Manager will be responsible for program development and implementation of newly developed projects within our United Utilities contract.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans for programs, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
- Assist in design of performance objectives and implement and monitor programming to meet desired outcomes.
- Organise and establish meetings on regular basis with designated individuals to foster positive relationships.
- Assist in the management of operations including budget development, modifications, and track expenditures.
- Assist in monitoring the program’s financial health and make recommendations.
- Assist with the development of communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
- Assist in managing client expectations.
- Work closely with the Project Manager
- To create, infiltrate and maintain a work programme.
- Coordination with local authorities, landowners, designers and other stakeholders.
- Produce and update scheme specific job packs to be approved by the client.
- Attend and arrange regular coordination meetings to maintain KPMs
- Produce legal orders to enable private and public land entry
- Ensuring all work is compliant.
