Assists in the management and supervision of supply chain activities and operations, while training to become a behind-the-scenes operational expert. This role will receive the guidance, mentoring, and support needed to successfully learn and utilize leadership skills and assume responsibility for the facility operations. Understands and contributes to company policies and procedures, ensuring the facility operates in an efficient and profitable manner while facing different and new challenges every day. Evaluates and enhances current operational systems and analytics while maintaining compliance with corporate requirements. Prepares various reports and audits to monitor and improve branches operational effectiveness. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate, as needed. This position requires extensive travel through assigned work activities and projects, and may require relocation to cover or replace Operations Managers at other locations. Reports to Operations Manager or Regional Manager. Has extensive general knowledge of operations, logistics, and supply chain management processes and works under minimal supervision.
Requirements:Responsibilities
- Analyzes supply chain processes, logistics, and reverse logistics; monitoring packing and shipping, and customer feedback for quality control; identifies changes and develops plans to improve supply chain, quality control, and process efficiency.
- Works with the accounting department to ensure that all orders are fully processed and accurately invoiced to customers with all relevant charges, discounts, and order information within SAP accounting software.
- Reviews weekly inventory reports and monitors inventory levels by consolidating inbound and outbound shipment volumes, submitting new purchasing requests as monitoring goes in order to ensure an optimal inventory level for local distribution center(s).
- Gathers and analyzes available historical sales data to create demand planning and forecasting. Periodically analyzes forecasted results against actual results to minimize forecast deviation, making adjustments to forecasting assessment, as necessary, to close the gap.
- Monitors, tracks, and updates inventory records and clears variances by working closely with warehouse staff and inventory accountants, regularly ensuring accuracy through inventory record audits and physical counts.
- Analyzes product categories and accounts activities, evaluates performance data, participates in meetings with supplier(s) and the after-market service team; identifies trends; develops and implements improvement plans.
- Prepares and completes action plans, implementing detailed schedules to ensure targeted deadlines are met and implements productivity, quality, and customer-service standards to maintain a high quality standard for operations processes and procedures.
- Negotiates and determines optimal pricing for shipping services with various logistics carriers/3rd party service providers. Evaluates shipping volume, vendor performance, pricing data, and geographic locations, to recommend changes in order to bring down logistical costs and reduce potential transit damages.
- Provides support as needed with reporting, data-entry, strategic planning, and customer service as needed. Assists in the supervision, training, coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance review of employees within department at facility. Ensures time-sensitive duties are completed in a timely manner or by established deadlines, providing hands-on assistance as necessary.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing established internal control procedures that comply with company and legal regulations.
- Serves as point of contact for escalated customer order issues. Communicates with customers to properly answer their questions and resolve their concerns in a professional manner.
- Resolves any and all day to day operational needs, often completing a variety of tasks in addition to those listed within these responsibilities as necessary for efficient branch operations.
- Travel to other Atosa locations, as needed.

Minimum Experience Required
- Education: BS degree in Business Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related.
- Job Field: 3+ years working experience in operations or supply chain.
