Job description
Arthur Ellis: Mental Health Support is looking for an Operations Manager to grow and develop our charity, not just in terms of revenue but to listen to our stakeholders and implement business improvements too.
We are a small charity, with the mission to establish an accessible, sustainable alternative to statutory services for people of all ages struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. This role is pivotal in helping our organisation grow and enable more people to get the support quickly, for us to be there when we need them rather than when waiting lists dictate. We are creating a mental health service how we feel it should be; friendly, easily accessible, communicative, and going above and beyond for the people who need our help.
This is what you’ll be getting up to:
· Supporting recruitment of new staff including development and management of the existing team
· Managing new and existing clients from agreeing contracts to attending meetings and monitoring the financial performance or contracts
· Finding and implementing ways to improve colleague, client and beneficiary satisfaction
· Day to day running of operations including liaison with stakeholders to ensure systems, finance, personnel, policies and procedures are practical, efficient, successfully implemented and constantly improved
· Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes for internal efficiencies
· Explore alternative/additional funding opportunities
· DSL duty
· Any other duties as directed by the senior leadership team
Essential experience
· High attention to accurate detail
· Working with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word etc)
· Working with CRM databases
· Working within customer service and good on the phone
Extra bits that’ll help you stand out.
· Demonstratable experience independently improving processes using automation
· Experience working in a client/patient-facing environment
· Can demonstrate working under your own guidance and initiative
· You are process-driven and thrive under reasonable pressure
· Experience in safeguarding

This is a huge driver for us, and echoes through everyone in the team so we are looking for someone who can relate to our mission and feels as enthusiastic about it.
This role is fully remote, working from home with occasional travel to team meetings and events. As a small but quickly growing organisation, we will work with you to become more influential within the business, provide additional training and help you grow with us.
