Operations Executive
Who We Are
AnyJunk (www.anyjunk.co.uk) is reinventing rubbish clearance with technology. Working with a national network of 300+ waste businesses connecting into an Uber style digital platform, we provide an on-demand, low cost and eco-friendly solution for getting rid of bulky waste.
Our technology led approach is redefining service and costs in our sector, as well as significantly reducing carbon footprint. Winner of numerous awards, including Chamber of Commerce ‘UK Business of the Year’, we divert from landfill more than 97% of everything collected. With sales of £15m+ and already undertaking over 2,000 collections week, we have big ambitions to scale.
The Role & Future
We're looking for a bright, ambitious person to join us in a role that will initially involve working in our Operations Team. The position blends both handling supplier enquiries and liaising with customers, as we look to grow our hybrid Operations-Account Management Team. In short, you'll be communicating with suppliers and ‘making things happen' for customers with heavier operational requirements. Consequently, it’s a great role to see multiple parts of the business and gain a real mixed skill set.
Experience in waste and/or logistics is advantageous, but not necessary.
The role will require an attendance in London for 2 weeks of training, alongside sporadic customer launches and/or socials.
Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,000 - £24,000.00 per year

Requirements:
· Excellent spoken & written communication skills – with fluent, idiomatic English
· Natural empathy and an outgoing, friendly personality
· Comfortable with IT and software
