KC Recycling have engaged Prime Essential to help them identify, attract and employ an Operations Engineer/Tech to join their growing team in a full-time position (Mon-Fri) at their facility in Trail, BC.

KC Recycling specialize in recycling electronic waste, it's one of a few facilities that recycles lead acid batteries in North America, they're involved in the early phases of recovering precious metals from circuit boards and recovering associated waste such as aluminum, copper, plastic, and steel.

This role is based sat their facility on the border of Rossland and Trail in British Columbia (BC) working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Meaning you would need to live in the area already or be prepared to move there for a long term opportunity. This is an employed position with employee benefits such as vacation, stat holiday, healthcare/dental etc.

The Operations Engineer/Tech reports to their Operations Director and will be key to supporting the facility with operations and maintenance. There is a mix of mechanical/electrical/chemical fixed and rotating equipment across the facility, this is a heavy industrial facility processing some hazardous materials.
