Role: Operations Director - VWGK Division
Salary: £120,000 per annum + bonus
This role covers a division that is spread nationally from Glasgow to Guildford with core market areas within the North East, North West and South of the UK, so the ideal candidate will be based within one of these core market areas. Travel across all areas will be expected.
The VWGK Division covers 22 sites across Volkswagen (passenger cars), Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, SEAT, Cupra, Skoda and Kia.
Providing inspirational leadership and direction to the divisional leadership team to drive profitability and increase revenue growth, this role will work in partnership with the Franchise Director to plan the divisional strategy in accordance with the group and manufacturer strategy.
You will be responsible for the planning and execution of the divisional strategy by continually reviewing and partnering with the manufacturer. Negotiating operationally in order to achieve manufacturer targets and deliver business performance will be expected.
With responsibility for the management, coaching and development of the leadership team, you will review performance against budget expectations and manage the fiduciary controls in conjunction with the Financial Controller to ensure the company is not exposed to risk.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple sites, you will have multiple performance measures, so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.
Previous experience in a similar position with experience managing multiple brands would be preferred but not essential. You will also hold a full UK driving license.
