If so, Geeks have an exciting opportunity for an Ops Director who will play a vital role in our 2023 growth plans and beyond. You will drive the implementation roadmap for operational transformation and take our software project delivery to the next level based on our client intimacy model and with a data-driven approach. This role is accountable for optimising the utilisation of resources as well as supporting employee satisfaction and engagement.
As part of the SLT, you will collaborate closely with the broader leadership team, Geeks at every level and report directly to the COO. The ideal Geek will have the courage to champion continuous improvement and strategic talent management. Beyond this, you will be the positive driving force embedding governance and best practice into the company culture through processes and implementing, maintaining and improving to ISO9001 and 27001 standards.

Responsibilities
This is a dynamic role with a diverse set of responsibilities, including the following:
- Responsible for optimising operational efficiency and complex change management on a large global scale.
- Embedding the continuous change management process and bringing in guardrails to ensure Geeks follow the company system at every level.
- Implementing and contributing to planning quarterly and annual business plan objectives.
- Accountable for monitoring and reporting P&L.
- Collaborating cross-departmentally to establish resource needs and forecast capacity for a 3-year outlook for the next generation of Geeks and operational leaders.
- Conducting ISO9001 and 27001 and GDPR audits plus other improvement roadmaps.
- Monitoring and reporting of business risks and compliance with legal governance.
- Ensuring our strategic talent management objectives meet the business needs.
- Act as a 'brand guardian', ensuring consistency in our Geeks message across all processes.
Required skills
We require the successful Geeks to have:
- Effective Communication You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can explain ideas and concepts concisely and succinctly. You know what to say, when to say, and how to say. You minimise misunderstandings. Engaging style and ability to collaborate and influence a variety of stakeholders at every level.
- Business Acumen You have solid commercial and financial awareness. Our passion is to enable and accelerate our clients' adoption of technology. However, to be able to do that, we need to work within their business constraint (time, budget, scope). Therefore, you need to be really good at adapting your solutions to suit a variety of stakeholders.
- Analytical Problem-Solving You are not easily overwhelmed by the complexity of a problem; you can break them down into small, manageable components. You are quick to spot relationships between things and ideas.
- A Data-Driven Mind You can confidently deliver solutions using both internal and external data sources.
- Strong Time Management You are highly organised and able to prioritise multiple projects within deadlines.
Required experience/qualifications
We require the successful Geek to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in leading impact-driven business transformation initiatives and change management processes at scale and pace.
- Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Hands-on experience of project management.
