SMS Environmental has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Operations Coordinator to join our expanding Service Delivery department, handling the booking of Pre-planned Maintenance work using our in-house system, Opuz. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team based in our Wales office. This is an office-based role.
This is a key role that needs an organised and meticulous approach. The ideal applicant will come from a customer service environment and have excellent communication skills.
About SMS Environmental
SMS Environmental is a respected provider of Legionella Water Testing and treatment services to a range of clients across the country. This is compliance driven and all work must be completed on time and recorded accurately.
Our Operations Coordinators are responsible for:
- Co-ordinating the booking of Engineer visits to client premises
- Contacting all sites to advise and confirm attendance date
- Raising jobs on our in house work scheduling system
- Using Gmail calendars to advise of their work in advance
- Handling ad-hoc queries from clients and staff
- Assisting colleagues to cover absences
- Keeping in house systems up-to-date with work completed.
There are some key skills we feel will be needed to succeed in this role:
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a planning or scheduling environment within a service industry
- Friendly and efficient communication skills both written and, on the telephone
- Computer literacy and accurate data entry
- Good geographical knowledge an advantage to assist in planning routes for engineer visits an advantage
- Good team player with a can-do attitude
