Operations Coordinator
Location: UK, remote
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Coordinator supports the research schedule for our BASES Neuroscience team for multiple regions globally, liaising with the operations team to meet day-to-day objectives. This includes developing fielding materials based on client objectives, coordinating with external vendors, and participating in developing the fieldwork schedule as needed. Our Operations Coordinator will work within a cross-functional team to meet research deadlines on time, at budget, and with quality in mind.
Responsibilities
- Obtains proficiency in all tools needed to support BASES Neuroscience projects
- Clear, concise, and professional communication with internal team and external vendors
- Develop a strategy to expand database as needed
- Supports project requests with incidence checks and timeline feedback
- Work with external vendors to schedule qualified participants for fieldwork
- Monitors all live studies daily to identify any in-field issues early
- Escalates at-risk projects appropriately as soon as identified
- Solution-oriented in resolving feasibility issues and recommending solutions
- Seeks opportunities/shows enthusiasm for value added projects beyond the ‘normal’ project specific work
- Proactively identifies High Priority studies and works with internal teams to execute successfully
- Works directly with 3rd party vendors to successfully manage expectations for sampling requirements and executing projects, ensuring that vendors understand and follow best practices as set forth by leadership
- Provides feedback to vendors and internal leaders as appropriate
- Records accurate and timely data for metrics tracking and financial reporting
- Willing to work as a team by taking on shared tasks such as vacation/sick day coverage, etc.
- Contributes to team discussions and non-production projects as needed
- Works well with other internal partners across Commercial and Operational teams to deliver on time and high-quality study execution, fostering a professional and friendly environment while working with others across the business.
Requirements & Skills
- Ability to work 5 days per week
- Strong organization and high attention to detail
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Oral and written communication in English
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
