Operations Manager - Health & Social Care
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Location: Ealing Broadway -West London
Role: 37.5 hours per week
Principle Responsibilities of the role:
1. Organisational deployment of staff in the most effective and efficient manner and that processes are standardised throughout the team.
2. Crisis management and strong delegation to all teams, coordinating effective outcomes.
3. Promote Valuing People Now and working to achieve person centered planning for all.
4. Ensure information and invoices and reports are dispatched in an accurate and timely way
5. Develop the bank staff, ensure new bank staff are engaged and are in the position to receive spot checks when necessary.
6. Ensure the team leaders and supporting living manager work effectively highlighting any performance issues.
7. Co-ordinate and implement the on-call rota to ensure they reflect operational needs. To establish equitable off duty rules that fit the needs of the service.
8. Audit and monitor support plans and quality of service by implementing an alert system which highlights poor performance.
9. Lead of safeguarding best practice and work with commissioning to resolve any issues as they arise.
10. Identify poor leadership and performance with the care services and work with the Head of Performance improve or recruit new talent.
11. Ensure that services are working efficiently and maintaining budgets.
12. Lead of ensuring that we are proactive in filling any empty bed vacancies ensuring assessments are delegated and completed in a timely manner.
SKILLS:
* Communicate information in a comprehensible and accessible manner, both in writing and verbally.
* Manage, lead, motivate and develop individuals and groups to obtain the highest professional standards.
* Set and prioritize objectives, including monitoring progress towards objectives.
* Plan, maintain and evaluate a service.
* Analyse information and identify patterns to diagnose and solve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o N.V.Q. Level 4/5 (or equivalent)
o Registered Managers Award or equivalent
o Degree or professional qualification in health and welfare services, social care, or a related field.
