We are recruiting for x2 Operations Assistants to join our Head Office team in Kidlington! Are you looking to join a company that will develop you in your career of operations and give you the skills and qualifications needed to achieve this? We are a growing company and need to recruit an Operations Assistant with one of the roles having the scope to grow into an operations management position.
We are looking for someone that is skilled and competent in an office environment that can assist the team with their needs. This is a varied role which would be great for someone who likes a variety of things to do.
The hours during term time are 9am -5pm but you will need to be flexible during the school holidays as the hours can be 8am-6pm Monday - Friday.
Your Role
The Operations Assistant will provide operational support to the sites daily operations. You will be based at our Kidlington office but have may be required to work at one of our camp sites during the holidays. During our off-season, we offer a hybrid working environment. Responsibilities will include general office duties, assisting with schedules, checking documentation, keeping the facility in good order, data entry, speaking with colleagues from all over our camps, liaising with providers and completing paperwork, kit and equipment duties and other duties associated with course planning and delivery.
You will be lone working at times, working in our stores to sort through, manage and maintain storage, preparation and delivery for all equipment across multiple branches of the company.
Sort, check and file paperwork being returned from each site.
Auditing equipment stock and purchasing equipment and consumables for all settings.
Assist with the logistics of running recruitment days at multiple locations.
About You
- Have experience working or volunteering with children
- Due the nature of the role you will need to be a driver with a valid licence
- Ideally experienced as an administrator or in recruitment or a similar setting
- Enthusiastic and with a positive attitude to work
- Responsible, mature and able to use own initiative
- Well-organised, comfortable with paperwork
- Ideally experienced in Microsot Office 365
- Experience in managing and maintaining stock and equipment (desirable)
All staff must pass strict safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS
