Operations Assistant Manager (Bar, Conference & Events)

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious individual to join our expanding team to deliver an efficient and effective operation to our valued customers - new and existing.

Working alongside the Events Manager we are looking for the right individual to assist in leading the team to deliver a seamless service.
The role involves being able to effectively support and develop the daily operation (Bar, Conference’s, and Events), ensuring the highest standards of guest care and service whilst achieving budget requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 year’s experience within the Hospitality industry, skilled in supervising a team, is an excellent team player, has the ability to motivate others, is organised, has the ability to work using initiative, standards driven and has a passion for service excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting in preparing and implementing the minimum standards of performance for all service activities within the Venue.
· Co-ordinating the activities of all staff under your control ensuring that all areas are presented to the agreed standard.
· Ensuring that customers are greeted in a warm and friendly manner.
· Serving all guests in a professional and efficient manner.
· Ensuring that all food and drink polices are adhered to as per venue policy.
· In the absence of the Events Manager, delivering the event or service.
· Ensuring you and your staff provide attentive service to all customers during their visit.
· Ensuring that all store areas are in order and tidied on a regular basis.
· Ensuring all Cash Handling procedures are adhered to.
· Being fully aware of Fire, hygiene, and safety procedures
· Being fully aware and observant of liquor licensing laws.
