The role
Join our exceptional team at the heart of our vibrant and rapidly expanding Global Engagement Division as our new Operations and Executive Assistant! We're seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to be part of our dynamic and ambitious team.

As the Operations and Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting two Associate Pro Vice-Chancellors and the Operations Officer, alongside the broader team. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of administrative tasks, allowing you to engage with a variety of exciting projects and initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to experience the full range of different administrative support activities, ensuring that you'll never have a dull moment. You will have the chance to work closely with the Manager and the entire Divisional team to ensure seamless service delivery across our diverse range of activities.
What will you be doing?
- Diverse array of administrative and logistical tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient division operations.
- Manage purchasing, invoicing, and coordinate recruitment efforts.
- Organise international and national travel with detailed itineraries.
- Expertly orchestrate and coordinate complex meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Pivotal support figure across the division, contributing to critical functions.
- Multitask and stay organised while supporting two Associate Pro Vice Chancellors.
- Showcase versatility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Make a real difference in day-to-day team operations and maintain high standards.
- Foster seamless collaboration between various stakeholders.
You should apply if
Working with a team to deliver a range of administrative tasks, you will be experienced with producing accurate work to deadlines, in a busy and demanding environment, with excellent communications skills, and the ability to proactively find solutions to any problems that arise.
- You have experience of administration systems or processes from working in an administrative role.
- You are approachable, personable, and confident working with a wide range of internal and external contacts, and senior members of staff.
- You are able to prioritise work calmly under pressure and to meet deadlines, managing several different tasks at any one time.
- You have a good degree of computer literacy including word processing, Excel, email and ideally database experience.
- You have a strong belief in the importance of universities and their role in society.
