Operational Resilience and OCIR Manager - 6 month FTC
As our Operational Resilience and OCIR Manager you’ll lead the implementation and maturity of Operational Resilience across the Society. You’ll join a likeminded team in our Business Services and Resilience function.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference leading the a team with responsibility for leading the embedding, strategy, management of the Operational Resilience and Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) regulation ensuring continued compliance, so that the Society can deliver all its Important & Critical Business services an ongoing basis.
About the Role
Lead a team of specialist Operational Resilience Analysts and OR & OCIR Lead to deliver our objectives.
Facilitate the delivery of scenario testing and manage stakeholder engagement through remediation activity.
Responsible for the overall Society's OCIR programme including presentation of any reporting requirements.
Proactively manage alignment between Operational Resilience and key business divisions and provide appropriate training required to ensure a ‘resilience by design’ culture.
Oversee reporting metrics for the Society on the status of Operational Resilience including board, audit and regulatory reporting requirements.
Lead the completion of the annual Operational Resilience Self-Assessment.
About you
You’ll have:
Experience of working within a risk function.
Experience of leading and developing a risk function or team to deliver sustainable high performance
The ability to work proactively and collaborate with wide variety of teams to achieve and outcome and provide robust challenge when required.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance, corporate governance, quality assurance and risk management.
Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills.
