Position Summary

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at our UK facility, Leicester.

The Operations Analyst is responsible for the generation, analysis, and delivery of Operations metrics, reporting, and recommendations. The analyst will work closely with IT, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to support all departmental reporting needs.

Duties

  • Analyze data reporting requirements within a business process and facilitate report development and validation
  • Analyze workflows, business processes and applications to enhance, automate and expedite process improvements
  • Serve as strategic partner between IT, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and document business requirements
  • Assist with documenting and tracking project progress and interacts regularly with key stakeholders and process owners while serving as a project liaison when needed to meet established timelines
  • Provide support on special or re-occurring ad hoc projects as requested from within the organization.
  • Development of thoughtful analytics and delivery of meaningful insights driven by data as required by the business.
  • Completes project deliverables, i.e. functional requirements, training material, communication content etc.
  • Manages resolution of cross-functional issues and demonstrates appropriate judgment regarding when to escalate issues to leadership.

  • Interacts with cross-functional teams and third parties to deliver various business solutions.
  • Partners with IT and the business to define solutions and requirements
  • Identifies deficiencies in Supply Chain workflows and creates acceptable alternative processes.
  • Assists in interpreting and analyzing data flows between manufacturing systems, data warehouse, Cognos, and Smoothie.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Degree

  • Associate's Degree

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business, Supply Chain or related field required.
  • 2+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Strong Advanced Excel skills is required
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite is required.

Preferred Experience

  • Understanding of databases and experience working with transact SQL or similar database reporting systems or query tools is preferred
  • Experience working with Oracle, Cognos, Tableau is preferred
