Exciting opportunity for a motivated, ambitious and confident individual to join a friendly and ambitious team in the Redruth area.
This is a varied and hands-on role that will see the chosen candidate supporting the Operations Managers, Directors and on the ground Operatives in a diverse working environment.
The role will include the following duties:-
Dealing with email and telephone enquiriesBooking consultation appointments & meetings (diary management)
Raising quotes and invoices
Ordering materials
Day to day scheduling of jobs
Project monitoring
Fleet management i.e. organising MOT’s, services etc
Organising insurance renewals
Taking deliveries
Filing
Occasional Site visits
Health & Safety (i.e. producing risk assessments/ method statements/ COSHH assessments/ organising & monitoring staff training) – full training to be provided
Providing all manner of support in a fast-paced family business.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills and experience in a variety of different areas (health & safety, project management, contracts managements, estimating).
Essential skills:
Great communicator
Excellent organisational skills,
Sound knowledge of Outlook (emails, word, Excel),
Ability to use own initiative
Team player
Ability to multi-task.
Desirable skills:- experience working in the construction sector, drawing knowledge i.e. ability to scale plans, construction health and safety knowledge & qualifications.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday to Friday. This is an office based role.
