Purpose of Role:

To effectively support the delivery of the overall Logistics strategy to include, workflow and process analysis, cross functional projects and DLG initiatives. The Senior Operational Analyst will support by providing operational and technical analysis of workflows and processes, delivery of projects and identification of trends and patterns in data, construction of reports, presentation of data and plans in a structured approach to the Logistics leadership team

To maintain, support and report on the operational run delivery of Hybrid Mail, digital workflow and document capture and recognition.

What being an Operational Analyst involves:

  • Produce and present monthly dashboard and MI for internal reporting

  • Use appropriate tools and methodologies to analyze operations, processes, systems, information, and data

  • Support and identify initiatives in line with Logistics Strategy

  • Create business benefit cases

  • Provide support to Logistics Risk reporting

  • Support cross functional project and programs

  • Support the management and delivery of projects

  • Lead regular updates calls/meetings for delivery of change and projects

  • Identifying operational requirements and opportunities for improvement

  • Work with internal stakeholder to develop a deep understanding of their requirements

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops

  • Support the continuous improvement of processes within transformation

Business & Technical skill sets/Attributes

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills in a hybrid digital environment

  • Experience of analysis, workflow and problem solving tools and techniques

  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work under pressure across several different projects simultaneously

  • Experience of driving continuous Improvement across operations or suppliers

  • Effective team player with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and business partners

  • Passionate about finding creative solutions with a positive attitude to change

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Fully experienced in MS Office/Excel
