Operations Analyst
Level 6 – Reporting to Head of Business Effectiveness

This role will support the team in delivering the right analysis, reporting and insights to unlock commercial value as well as be a driver for change across the commercial organisation. The successful candidate will be a part of a new team leading the transformation of Global Travel within Diageo.
You will be accountable for:
- Taking the initiative on the right data and reports to facilitate the BPM process
- Crafting powerful scorecards and reports linked to the overall business rhythm
- Digest and analyse the relevant data to deliver practical insights to the commercial teams
- Support the rollout of the relevant D&T tools to support the commercial transformation
- Prepare, analyse and steward the key reports enabling elite execution in outlet in order to beat the competition
- Support the Business Effectiveness & Global Travel Commercial team to ensure it has all the tools it needs to win through execution and that we are at the forefront of new technology and analysis to gain a competitive advantage
Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years of commercial experience and/or analytical roles
- Experience in turning insights into action
- Strong stakeholder management, ability to influence the commercial teams to deliver against agreed actions
- A solid grasp of commercial metrics and the sales drivers that impact performance
- Has a demonstrable ability to deliver results and an ability to learn and adapt quickly

It is formed of a highly interdependent set of processes (data foundations, Outlet execution KPIs, SIP), tools (Advance analytics, Reporting) and systems (Trax, EDGE 365, My Diageo) that will bring data, insights, analytics, technology, consistent ways of working, and a customer-first mind-set to the heart of every interaction with our partners. It is crafted to deliver a 360° customer view across the physical, virtual and verbal call. This will give everyone in Diageo (whether in Supply, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service) the same view of the customer, helping us to provide a better customer service and ensuring that we win at the point of purchase. The purpose of this role is to set the long & mid-term commercial transformation strategy for this market & its countries (EDGE), lead the development & implementation of an omni channel strategy, deliver the commercial standards in market and ensure the sales organization is set up with premier capabilities to deliver EDGE. The focus is on the commercial side of the business, but it also covers the overall Business Transformation.
