The main manufacturing site is situated in London with sales and distribution offices located in USA, Singapore, France & Australia.
Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join an industry leading designer and manufacturer of Radio Frequency (RF) antenna products with a worldwide reputation in its field. The Production Scheduler role within the Operations Department and would suit a self-motivated, organized individual with great communication skills who has a hands-on approach, planning to build a long term career in manufacturing with opportunities to support and gain hands on experience across multiple departments.
Job Objective
This is a full-time, permanent position with the primary purpose of planning the production jobs to be manufactured at the London site. The Production Planning Administrator will be part of a small, friendly and inclusive office team based in Wandsworth, London. The role will require daily communication with the whole team to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Principal Responsibilities
- Plan & schedule Assembly of Materials based on the Operator capacity and the customer demand. This could be for antenna assemblies, cable harnesses or moulding processes for the UK, USA & Singapore sites.
- Monitor & escalate problems to upstream and downstream departments
- Support internal teams through email, Teams chat or by phone
- Work with the Production Manager to ensure that all production teams are working to their optimum capacity
Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Experience of material planning in a related industry
- A flexible, “hands-on,” proactive approach
- Ability to be a good team player
- Good communication using various tools. Such as email & Microsoft Teams
- Good report writing skills with excellent written English
- Some experience in data processing or office administration ideal but full training will be provided
Working Hours
42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm.
30 minutes lunch break unpaid and two paid tea breaks of 15 minutes each.
Remuneration
£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per annum
