Job Title: Project Production Administrator Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role could largely be home-based with occasional trips to the Wythall office.

Salary and benefits: £37,500 - £40,000 plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Project Production Administrator Manager to join our Actuarial Production team.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial technician to develop their career. You will be responsible for setting up and running the Mg-Alfa model in the cloud, delivering output for project actuaries to review. You will receive inputs from other teams and will set up the runs according to project requirements, challenging them when appropriate.

By working in conjunction with Mg-Alfa analysts, actuaries, PMs and test managers you will ensure that expected model output is delivered within project timelines. You will contribute to project planning in ensuring requirements are realistic and achievable.

You’ll also play an important role in the team by supporting and guiding less experienced colleagues.

The role also comes with people management responsibility for a small team of up to 5 colleagues.

What are we looking for?

You will love this role if you have attention for details and a broad understanding of how actuarial reporting/financial modelling work. You will need to be prepared to translate project requirements into systems documentation, which the rest of the team can follow to set-up the cloud model.
