The Opportunity
The Operational R eporting Analyst is responsible for driving an in - de p th analytical view of Gen. Sou r cing information from multiple sources and systems to formulate a n accurate picture of the business . The information gathered and presented will be used to drive its strategic planning and direction by the Arcadis gen senior leadership team.
The role will c over Sales, Projects (Solutions), Products and Operations (Delivery) . T his is a core role used to support the business through Management Information, enabling the business to make decisions based on facts and current performan c e; as well as looking to the future through trend analysis and external impacts from the market.
Core responsibilities include:
Sales trends and Outlook : Understanding our short-, mid- and long-term outlook opportunity pipeline performance. Driving insight into which areas are driving revenue and where there is future opportunity to drive further revenue. This role will work closely with the Sales Dom ai n and members of the Leadership team to ensure clear and consistent messaging on Sales metrics .
Project Performan c e : Gen runs multiple projects ac ro ss the business both internally and with External Clients. This role w ill work closely with Projects being del iv ered externally to aggr e gate the data and per fo rmance ac ro ss projects to manage the performance message to the busin e ss , incl ud ing the leadership team. They will a naly se trends, P&L performance and core Project KPIs including planned vs actuals on resource consumption and forward projections of project performance, feeding into the del i very strategy and planning.
Product Development Performance: Product development is key to the delivery of Arcadis gen’s strategy . In 2023, almost 1/3 of the Arcadis Gen workforce will be involved in product development . This role will work closely with Product and Technology to aggregate the data and performance across products to manage the performance message to the business, including the leadership team. They will analyse trends, P&L performance and KPIs including planned vs actuals on resource consumption and forward projections of pro duct development performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Development and ownership of monthly Project , Product and Sales dashboard s to inform the business of their performance and where further support is needed to ensure successful outcome
- Understanding and communicating project /product u tilization and burndown rates
- Trend analysis on inflight project P&L performance to support the p roject /product management community on their project’s performance
- Ownership and delivery of Sales Pipeline and Performance messaging, through weekly communications and Monthly/Quarterly summaries
Key Relationships, Collaborations and Connections
This role reports to the Chief of Operations and the Commercial Strategy Director and will be a key member of the team, collaborating with multiple domains within the Gen biosphere.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have a n analytical background , and experience in mining large volumes of data to then represent in a clear message to all levels of the business. A high level of commercial acumen to understand the commercial impact of the information to help represent the impact on Gen and its strategic plan . Experience in working across multiple data sources and formulating an overall picture of the business.
