Onsite Physiotherapist & Site Manager Are you a Qualified Physiotherapist? Do you have a professional qualification in Physiotherapy and a minimum of three year’s post qualification with experience in musculoskeletal physio and management of clinics and other physiotherapists? Are you competent to work as an autonomous physiotherapist? Would you like to develop your skills and knowledge in MSK and Occupational Health? Here at IPRS Health, we have an exciting job opportunity for you! We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team. This is a face to face physiotherapy role, working in one of the IPRS Health clinics with the possibility of some remote and/or ergonomics work with our clients. This role provides the successful applicant with an opportunity to become a specialised practitioner within occupational health physio while delivering a biopsychosocial approach while additionally developing enhanced clinical reasoning through clinical report checking and audit. This role comes with a management position to look after the clinic and the other physiotherapist working with you on site. YOUR KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES > You will cover a range of musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments and treatments > You will work within your scope of practice > You will provide functional capacity assessments and manual handling training if/when needed (once trained) > You will complete notes and reports in accordance with IPRS Health, CSP and HCPC standards and IPRS Health KPI’s > To undertake ergonomic/DSE/vehicle/workplace assessments for clients if there is a business need > You will treat the patient as a whole using the Biopsychosocial Model > You will work with your team to meet challenging but achievable KPI’s and goals and help with monthly reports > You will join in with site meetings including monthly information meetings with other stakeholders > You will manage the site to ensure smooth running of the clinic and troubleshoot and issues that arise > You will act as line manager to your physiotherapist colleague on site > You will help the onsite team as a senior physiotherapist when needed > You will take initiative in progressing your individual professional development and clinical effectiveness > You will maintain good communication and relations with all of your stakeholders > You will liaise, as regularly as is needed, with your Line Manager and wider IPRS team > You will manage and prioritise your work tasks > You will be flexible to undertake any other duties compatible with the grading of the post, as required > You will ensure that any recommendations for further treatment, onward referrals or clinical investigations are reasonable using clinical reasoning, clinical experience/knowledge and current evidence > You will be a “clinical point of contact” for non-clinical personnel seeking clinical advice or information whilst undertaking telephone screening calls, dealing with client queries or making referrals > You will actively engage in Clinical Audit duties as directed by the Clinical Lead in line with the IPRS Clinical Audit Strategy. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following: E) Essential (D) Desirable Education and Qualifications: > Formal Qualification in Physiotherapy (E) > Minimum 3-year of post graduate experience in MSK Physiotherapy (D) > UK work experience in MSK (D) > Member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) (E) > Membership to Chartered Society of Physiotherapy(D) > Evidence of continuing professional development (E) Experience & Knowledge: > Previous experiences of working in MSK environment (E) > Previous experiences of working in a workplace or occupational health environment (D) > Previous management experience (E) > Computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (E) > Flexibility to meet KPI’s by helping out your team when required ie occasionally helping out other clinics/services (E) > Full driving license and car (D) YOU’RE GOOD AT…. > Working under minimum supervision and independently > Working as part of a larger remote team > Thriving under change and innovation > You jump at the opportunity to collaborate on projects > Communicating to patients and clients > Working autonomously and managing your time > Working with databases and Microsoft programmes > Understanding the importance of clinical governance The candidate will be able to manage their own caseload in a physiotherapy clinic, with support from the senior on site clinician and other colleagues. They will have experience in working in a musculoskeletal clinic to provide assessments and treatments. They will also be required at times to deliver functional capacity assessments and desk assessments. The successful candidate will be a part of the IPRS Health clinical team. They will be able to complete reports within KPI and will be involved and have support in client discussions to provide the best service possible while helping promote and expand the service.
