As a member of the Online Commercial team you will be integral to driving the sales plan through driving the right product offer for our online customers.
Key accountabilities and measures- Manage daily/ weekly trading process, determining ongoing use of key commercial levers to drive business outcomes
- Work with the Trading Team to plan and execute the delivery of the category commercial goals on the website
- Input category-specific sales plans to overall Online sales plan
- Analyse commercial performance and convert to Range and Trading recommendations
- Provide channel’s formal requirements for range planning, buy volumes and product launch
- Provide channel requirements for seasonal promotions, prices, markdowns and clearance
- Assess and recommend opt out from proposals on promotion, price, markdown and clearance where there is a business case
- Provide leadership on decisions to drive promotional activity on slow sellers
- Ensure joined-up category/ channel business plans for the period
- Influence the buying and product development teams, using insights to make recommendations for change and drive performance online
- Influence and work with finance teams to deliver the operating plan process
- Lead and coach the online commercial teams in delivering a digital first mentality in the business units
- Line manage the Assistant Online Commercial Managers and agree clear objectives and development plans
