We are currently working with a lovely primary school based in Hammersmith & Fulham. The school has a positive can do attitude and aim to have all their students succeed. This role will require patience, determination and a nurturing nature. The position is for a One to One Teaching Assistant to work primarily with a pupil who has a diagnosis of Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Due to the behaviour management needs of the child the ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role, also any extra qualifications/training would be favourable.
The school is looking to appoint an energetic, patient, firm but kind person to work with a child with Autism and associated learning difficulties. The school are welcoming applications from anyone with a background in supporting children and young people with Autism and challenging behaviour, this could be in a youth work or non - education based background.
