What you'll do
As an Onboarding Specialist at Tyl by NatWest, you'll work closely with our sales managers and their prospective merchants to obtain information that enables us to onboard new and existing customers, making sure that paperwork and enhanced due diligence meets all operational and regulatory requirements.
We’re also looking for someone to provide our sales managers and merchants with support on Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements to drive up quality levels and help to win new business for the bank.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Liaising with professional sales managers to gather the right information needed to provide a smooth client experience
- Preparing for merchant onboarding by completing checks, reviewing information from any previous sales meetings and identifying information gaps
- Attending prospect meetings to help with onboarding files and enhance the client experience
- Making sure that appropriate bank and business area policies and procedures are followed
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience of working in a bank or financial services role. You'll also bring appropriate technical knowledge relating to merchant acquiring products, policy and appetite, as well as an understanding of onboarding and KYC processes.
Additionally, you’ll demonstrate:
- Underwriting experience
- Good numeracy skills and basic Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to effectively manage your time, accurately prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- A willingness to cross-skill across the wider middle office team in order to develop and grow your career
