Onboarding Recruitment & Compliance Officer

Working in partnership with the NHS continuing healthcare teams and private teams, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support enables individual clients to remain in their home even when the level of healthcare required is highly complex.
Job Description:
The Onboarding Recruitment & Compliance Officer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out the end-to-end recruitment process for Carers roles as directed by the Commercial Director
- Meeting clients to find out their recruitment needs
- Developing recruitment campaigns & ensuring that recruitment is organised and conducted in a timely manner for all roles
- Writing and placing adverts on internal job boards and external recruitment job sites
- Devising selection & testing material for roles as required
- Conducting initial screening, telephone, and face to face interviews
- Constantly achieving the targets as required
- Proactively sourcing and screening direct applicants against both live and pipeline vacancies using various methods, including attending recruitment fairs
- Making recruitment decisions and generating all offer paperwork for candidates
- Supporting HFH’s recruitment policies to support selecting the best candidates and driving a focus on quality and committed staff
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing recruitment processes, procedures and documentation as required
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing recruitment plans in conjunction with the relevant operational managers
- Ensure compliance of new recruits: identity verification, right to work in the UK, references, training and DBS clearance
- Ensure continued compliance, including visas, criminal record checks and refresher training, reporting on non-compliance in good time and taking necessary corrective action. This includes creating risk assessments where noncompliance is identified
- Chasing for missing information from candidates or their referees
- Conduct quarterly audits on files, complete audit schedule reports and advise managers of issues of non-compliance.
- Ensure accuracy of any staff contracts, prepare and sign on behalf of HFH Healthcare
- Administrate our e-learning system, ensuring new staff have log on details and know how to access the system and escalating any service issues with our e-learning provider.
- Support the recruitment officers with recruitment events and activities during busy periods of activity.
- Ensure that data is held and disposed of in line with our legislative responsibilities.
- Our compliance officers are the second interaction that prospective employees have with HFH Healthcare, so it is essential that the role holder is able to deliver all of the above with a high level of professionalism.
Profile
The new Recruitment Officer must;
- Must have previous experience in a dedicated recruitment role
- Must have experience working within a high-volume recruitment team
- Experience in recruitment within Health & Social Care is desirable
- Strong English spoken, listening, writing, communication and presentation skills
- First class IT and communication skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Key experience of working with and advising line managers on recruitment decisions
- Confidence to work across all levels of the business
